Role: AV TechnicianLocation: London (central)Salary: Strong basic (dependent on experience), plus company benefitsHours: 40 hrs per week, covering 8-hour shifts between 07:30 am – 22:00pm on a rota basisInterview process: 2-stage process (virtual and then in-person)Kinly is a leading integrator of audio-visual and unified communications solutions, and the largest in Europe, serving as a globally trusted technology advisor to leading organisations. For more than 25 years, we have been designing, developing, integrating and supporting complex audiovisual solutions and businesses rely on us to deliver consistently secure and flexible meeting experiences.We have a portfolio of blue chip clients and the current opportunity we have available is working on one of our most prestigious customers, providing dedicated support services, of a mix of AV, UC and Event services as part of our existing and growing onsite team.This exciting and diverse role will involve supporting senior stakeholders and so you will need to be able to carry yourself well and provide a high-class service both personally and technically.Key responsibilities:Ensure operational availability of all dedicated Event Spaces, AV & Hybrid enabled meeting roomsPerform AV equipment setup/installation and support as requiredProvide technical support for Events, including duration support where requestedSet up and operate supplied infrastructure, equipment and applications in dedicated live event spaces and meeting rooms to deliver live events where requestedAttend post event debriefs where requestedProvide quick responses to emergency/ad-hoc requests, adhering to SLA’s where relevantConduct regular proactive room and equipment checksDemonstrate Self Service AV and VC Capabilities to end users wherever possibleAssist with end user or Customer training as requiredAssist with the training of new starters or sub-contractors as requiredSkills and experience:Knowledge of AV solutions from a technical perspectiveProven experience with digital mixing desks, vision mixers and camera controlsKnowledge of collaboration clients such as Cisco, Teams, Zoom, GoogleFully IT literate with good MS Office skillsManual handling tasks will be required when necessary for moving equipmentExcellent people skillsExcellent organisational and time management skills.
