The successful candidate will be responsible for Operations of our Cloud infrastructure initiatives, driving innovation, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a critical role in shaping our infrastructure strategy and driving the successful implementation of AWS solutions.You will make impact with the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our AWS infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
  • Develop and implement best practices for cloud infrastructure management, including provisioning, monitoring, and automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and architect solutions that meet business needs.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall reliability of our AWS infrastructure.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on AWS services and capabilities, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Good debugging skills on Infrastructure and aid Dev team with RCA.
  • Experience in Zero Downtime deploy/maintenance of Cloud environments.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security best practices, implementing appropriate controls and monitoring mechanisms.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science & engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 plus years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS infrastructure in a production environment.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, and CloudFormation.
  • Specialization in DevOps including mastery of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilities like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation, alongside expertise in constructing robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing tools such as Jenkins and Puppet.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and load balancing.
  • Proven track record of leading complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent certification highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • The pay range for this position is $97,500 – $167,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
