These systems are the backbone of our IT services, catering to both internal and external users. Your primary focus will be on Azure system design, installation, optimisation and troubleshooting. You will play a key role in aiding the IT team in the seamless delivery, monitoring, and management of our daily production environments.   • Ensure the stability and security of the Azure cloud environment, addressing issues, while also fostering innovation in system management.
  • Proactively report non-functional system incidents, maintain open communication with affected users and stakeholders, and diligently document requirements.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of new solutions to boost productivity and reliability, integrating innovative proof-of-concepts into everyday operations.
  • Share your expertise with the broader IT team, facilitating training, fostering innovation, and meticulously documenting systems and services within your area of responsibility.
  • Collaborate with third-party stakeholders to drive improvements, embrace change, and enhance service delivery while actively promoting innovative approaches.

Essential

  • Proficiency in working with Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, Azure Active Directory, Logic Apps, Functions, Azure App Service and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps principles, including troubleshooting, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Expertise in creating and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Bicep and Terraform.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing and optimising Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Lake for large-scale data solutions.
  • Strong experience in administering Dynamics 365 (D365) applications and integrating them with other Azure services.
  • Proficiency in managing connectivity between Azure, Azure DevOps, Dynamics 365, and Lifecycle Services (LCS) to support seamless operations and updates.
  • Understanding of security best practices in Azure and Office 365.
  • Proficiency in automating routine tasks using PowerShell or similar scripting languages to improve operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations relevant to Azure
