Applications are invited for the position of B2B Skills Marketing Manager to join the university’s newly established Institute of Professional and Work-based Learning, supporting the development of the university’s skills offer for professional learners.
The Institute of Professional and Work-based Learning will manage the delivery of a multi-year vision to support the development and implementation of the university’s skills agenda, of which the university’s successful Degree Apprenticeship provision will be a key part. The new skills strategy sets out a clear plan for the development of differentiated skills training backed by research-led, world-class education and we’re looking for a B2B Skills Marketing Manager to help support our ambitious plans.
You will be responsible for the development, refinement and execution of comprehensive marketing and communications plans to support delivery of the broad portfolio of professional and work-based learning skills activity. Whether launching new programmes or developing existing ones, your role will facilitate aligning the university’s skills offer with addressing regional, national and international industry skills gaps and ensuring an outstanding B2B customer experience.
You’ll need experience of developing B2B marketing plans and have excellent campaign management skills. You will bring experience of developing compelling copy and content using marketing insight, and research to support the customer journey and develop strong B2B relationships. You will also be a confident communicator, able to engage a range of stakeholders and effectively work with cross-functional teams to deliver marketing projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team driving the university’s B2B skills offer and would be great for someone looking to take the next step in their career or develop their skills in B2B marketing.
This is a full-time (36.25 hours), fixed-term post for 1 year. Arrangements for job share may be considered. Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.
Informal enquiries may be addressed to Candice Dean, Head of B2B Skills Marketing (IPWBL) via [email protected]. Please note that applications sent directly to this email address will not be accepted.
