We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly-organised and proactive individual to join us as our Corporate Affairs Administrator at Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust.This an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to become part of a team that is passionate about delivering a high quality service. This role will give you the opportunity to work alongside the Trust Board and support governance processes including Board and Committee administration, freedom of information and policy management.We are looking for someone professional that is confident in engaging and communicating to a high standard while providing advanced and meticulous administrative support. If you’re looking for an opportunity to develop your skills and wider NHS knowledge in a high-profile and respected team then this is the role for you.Main duties of the jobAs Corporate Affairs Administrator you will provide efficient and effective support to the Corporate Affairs Team and will lead on allocated processes and projects.The tasks you will be required to support are varied and will change depending on the priorities of the Corporate Affairs Team throughout the year, however, much of your portfolio will be on a cyclical/regular basis linked to due dates for Freedom of Information requests and the Board and Committee meeting schedule.You will have the ability to manage your workload independently within the parameters of deadlines set.The full details of the role can be found in the attached job description but in summary include:

- NVQ3/QCF in administration or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
- GCSE English (or equivalent)

Experience and KnowledgeEssential
- Excellent level of written and spoken English, with demonstrable comprehension skills
- Excellent arithmetical skills, showing a good understanding of number and data management
- Experience in providing proficient administrative procedures including: oManagement of electronic diaries arranging meetings and venues; oCollation of information, producing agendas and distribution of papers for meetings; oReceive incoming communications via mail/emails and telephone and direct appropriately. oHigh levels of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel

- Ability to concentrate in complex meetings for long periods of time
