If you’ve answered yes, then this opportunity may be for you.We are looking for an enthusiastic and focused Business Support Manager to join the General Management Administrative Team with responsibility for the administrative functions of the division. The post holder will also focus on specific projects and programmes within the new clinical group operational teams and will support change management processes for IT systems within the division and will take the lead role and oversight in supporting the development, testing and implementation of such systems.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will manage the administrative functions of the Dental Services Division ensuring the provision of a daily service is maintained by the Clinical Groups and the General Management and Nursing Administrative Teams. To oversee and support with the management and transformation of key administrative functions of the Dental Division to enable the efficient delivery of services to patients, Clinical Group Operational Teams, and members of the Divisional Senior Leadership Team. To develop and support the implementation of key transformation programmes and significant complex work streams of programmes within Clinical Group Operational Teams as directed by the Group Service Manager or Service Manager. Participate in the strategic planning, identifying interdependencies across projects/functions and bring together the outputs and outcomes.Reporting and presenting periodic updates to the Service Manager and the Clinical Group Leadership Team on the progress of transformation projects and work streams.The post holder will develop and maintain a high standard of administrative support and customer care across the Division.About usBCHC has more than 5000 staff working across Birmingham and the West Midlands in a wide range of community nursing and specialist healthcare roles.   • Demonstrate both significant managerial and proven strong clerical skills.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of a full range of administrative procedures acquired through training and experience
  • Excellent IT skills and competent in the use of Microsoft office
  • Competent in arranging in meetings, developing agenda and papers, timely circulation and comprehensive accurate minute taking
  • Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
  • Ability to delegate effectively
  • Ability to demonstrate the capability to operate, lead and deliver a well organised, structured administrative service.
  • Ability to relate to the public and staff in a professional and courteous manner and to demonstrate outstanding customer care.
  • Ability to operate with the minimum of supervision, to organise and prioritise tasks, to ensure work is timely and delivered to a very high standard.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines.
