Job SummaryVernova Healthcares Ultrasound Service is a busy and dynamic department dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred, non-obstetric ultrasound care. We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable bank staff to join our friendly and supportive team, assisting sonographers across multiple sites.Work Schedule:

• Predominantly Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
• 08:30 – 17:30
• Hourly Rate: £12.07

Main duties of the jobKey Responsibilities * Patient Care Assistance

• Verify patient identification against referrals.
• Prepare patients for their examinations.
• Support sonographers during and between scans, including acting as a chaperone.
• Assist in maintaining appointment schedules.

• Effective Communication

• Foster seamless interactions to ensure smooth operations and quality patient experiences.

• Safety and Hygiene

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment.
• Adhere to infection control practices.
• Follow established procedures, protocols, and guidelines.

• Administrative and Clerical Tasks

• Use the Computerised Radiology Information System (CRIS) for patient documentation.
• Manage and upload images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
