This school are looking for a passionate and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a vibrant school in Haringey. This position starts immediately, and you’ll play a crucial role in supporting students to overcome behavioural challenges and achieve their full potential. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be at the forefront of making a positive difference in students’ lives, helping them navigate personal and academic obstacles while fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.The school is committed to creating an atmosphere where all students can thrive. The Behaviour Mentor role will allow you to work closely with both students and staff, ensuring that all students receive the support they need to succeed, particularly those facing social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or group support to students with behavioural difficulties, helping them to develop key coping strategies
- Implement behaviour management techniques to assist students in regulating their emotions and actions, ensuring a positive classroom environment
- Collaborate with teachers, school leadership, and parents to create and refine effective intervention plans tailored to individual students
- Build strong, supportive relationships with students, acting as a role model and mentor to encourage positive behavioural change
- Promote emotional well-being, resilience, and positive social interactions among students
- Regularly monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and senior leadership to inform further interventions and support

- A genuine passion for working with children and making a positive difference in their lives
- A relevant qualification in education, youth work, or a related field is desirable but not essential
