Job Title: SEMH Behavioural Learning Support AssistantLocation: Near Horsham, Special Needs SchoolSalary: £98 per dayHours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 pm / Tuesday to Friday, 5:30 pm Monday*Job Description:**We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special needs school near Horsham. Our school supports children aged 5-18 with a variety of SEND and SEMH needs. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and are eager to make a positive impact on their educational journey.*Key Responsibilities:**
- – Provide support to students with special needs and SEMH challenges, ensuring they receive the individualised attention they require.
- – Assist teachers in implementing educational programs and activities tailored to each student’s needs.
- – Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- – Support students with daily activities and personal care as needed.
- – Encourage social interaction and development through engaging activities.
- – Monitor and record students’ progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
*Requirements:**
- – Personal or professional experience with special educational needs and Social emotional and mental health challenges
- – Resilience and a strong passion for working with children with special needs.
- – A desire to gain experience in the field and an openness to opportunities for career progression.
- – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- – Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
