Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?You are a dynamic individual with a passion for helping people by joining our fast-paced Life Service team at the RBC Insurance Advice Centre. As a Bilingual Associate, Life Service you will interact with clients over the phone, providing them with insurance answers related to their policy details.What will you do?Effectively answer inbound calls centered on updating, managing, and reporting of policy information to our clients – life and health policy owners and brokersRespond to email inquiries related to their policies by both owners and brokersProvide insurance assistance to clients based on their needsAccurately analyze and report all information in relation to the terms and conditions of the policy in a timely mannerExhibit a consistent, positive client experience with every conversation and resolve client concerns at the first point of contact, demonstrating the ability to connect through discussion and escalate as necessaryDemonstrate a solid understanding of the policies and effectively communicate them to clients and brokersUse procedures effectively and seamlessly during callsWhat do you need to succeed?Must-haveBilingual, fluent in French and EnglishFlexibility to work a variety of shifts as our Centre is open Monday to Friday 8 am to 8 pm EST, to better help our clientsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and problem resolution skillsDemonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clientsAbility to navigate between multiple systemsNice-to-haveKnowledge of insurance products & policies (Life and Health)Call centre experienceWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
