Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Payroll Administration:

  • Prepare payroll and contribution payments, which includes bi-weekly payroll, bi-weekly RRSP and DPSP contributions, and miscellaneous tax submissions.

Customer Collections:

  • Communicate effectively with clients to collect outstanding balances.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and clients to monitor and solve any sales invoice discrepancies.
  • Advise on credit limits set for each customer in compliance with the company’s internal policies and procedures.

Accounts Payable:

  • Prepare and process payments for suppliers and other parties and reconcile their accounts.
  • Verify and input the company’s credit card transactions.
  • Review & approve expense reports in accordance with the company’s and accounting guidelines.

Other:

  • Complete monthly Bank reconciliations.
  • Assist in month-end closing process.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests.

Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS

  • Bilingual (French & English)
  • 2 years of Finance, Accounting or Payroll experience
  • Oracle or ADP experience is an asset
  • Previous Payroll experience is an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Accounting, or Economics
  • Ability to handle stress well and communicate with customers and employees in professional manner
  • Capability to quickly learn new ERP System (ie. Oracle)
