Vines of Guildford is looking for a Bodyshop Paint Technician.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter Technician to join our dynamic team! At Vines Group, we take pride in delivering exceptional service and quality workmanship to our customers.
What you will do:
- Prepare and spray motor vehicles of all types to the highest standard within the scheduled times and in a safe, environmentally friendly and economical way.
- To care for customers’ vehicles and property and seek to achieve the highest customer satisfaction.
- Degreasing and preparing products for paint application.
- Priming and top coating using water or solvent-based paint systems.
- Finishing projects to the highest of specifications.
- Carry out work on vehicles as detailed on job cards given to you by your supervisor, authorized by the customer, within the time allocated.
- Ensure any paint and materials used to complete the repair are fully recorded and fit for the purpose, disposing of displaced materials in the appropriate manner.
- To build a bank of knowledge and skills to diagnose faults, carry out tests on vehicles, and effect permanent and complete repairs.
Hours: 45 Hours per week 8:30 am – 6 pm Monday – Friday.
Salary: £40,000 with an OTE £50,200 depending on experience.
Your profile
- Proven experience as an automotive painting technician.
- Proficiency in colour matching and paint application techniques.
- Knowledge of different types of paint and finishes.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving licence.
- Qualified to NVQ, City and Guilds, or ATA standards.
