Use your talents as a PART TIME Bookkeeper in a newly available position that Robert Half is looking to fill. If you have worked with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then you may be the right candidate for this Bookkeeper opportunity. The long-term contract / temporary Bookkeeper will work in the London, Ontario area.What you get to do every day– Look after archived records by categorizing documents– Oversee accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions– Oversee and manage general ledger– Examine payments received and record deposits– Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information– Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures– Settle accounts by reconciling entries
– Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred– Quality experience with expense reports– Comprehensive knowledge of account reconciliation– Wide ranging experience with cash applications– Foundational knowledge in bank reconciliations– Earlier work involving Government Remittances– General familiarity with month end closings– Accounts Payable (AP) experience– Accounts Receivable (AR) experience– Experience with bookkeeping– Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Excel– Practical knowledge of Expense Reconciliation– Proven knowledge of data entry– Good understanding of Balance Sheet Reconciliation– Experience using accounting software– BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
