Robert Half has partnered with a growing company in North York for this exciting permanent Bookkeeper opening. This role requires the candidate to be comfortable in meeting deadlines with minimal supervision. If interested, submit your application today for this permanent opportunity via Robert Half. Administering reconciliation, month-end closing, payroll, and accounts payable will be the Bookkeepers obligations. They will report directly to the Owner of the business and will have room for growth and career development over time.

Your responsibilities in this role:
– Manage the daily bookkeeping needs of the company including balancing of bank accounts, posting of invoices, sales receipts and any other documents required
– AP Processing including payment runs via EFT
– Bank accounts – Employee expense report management
– Entry – Team payroll via PayWorks – Biweekly, maintenance and audit
– WSIB – Prepare – Organize and manage the filing and storage of all financial records
– Provide Monthly – Assist the president in the preparation and update of financial forecasting models as needed
– Prepare year-end financial reporting to external accountants to produce company Annual Financial Statements

– Excellent written and verbal skills, communicates well, loves being part of a team
– Strong aptitude for numbers, figures and details
– Outstanding computer skills including QuickBooks, MS Office and Payworks
– Ability to identify and solve problems within the scope of assigned work
– 3-5 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience
– 1-2 years in a similar role
– Certificate or diploma in accounting or bookkeeping
