Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records and addressing customer queries. As a Bookkeeper, your duties will range from processing customer applications to diligently overseeing customer accounts. This role offers the chance to make a substantial contribution to our industry.Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Accurately record transactions and categorize them correctly.
- Monitor and reconcile financial accounts to ensure precision.
- Confirm transactions are recorded accurately across various ledgers including the day book, supplier ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
- Conduct bank and general ledger reconciliations meticulously.
- Process payroll in a timely manner.
- Carry out month-end and year-end close processes.
- Regularly assess financial performance and produce necessary financial reports.
- Manage tax obligations responsibly, ensuring compliance and meeting deadlines.
- Keep an accurate record of capital assets.
- Regularly backup financial data.
- Supervise the transition from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
- Comply with the Quality Management System.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a bookkeeping role
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
- Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
- Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations
- Demonstrated experience in Bookkeeping
- Proficiency in Data Entry
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in Month End Close procedures
- Experience in managing Payroll
- Proficiency in QuickBooks software
Expected salary
$55000 – 60000 per year
