We are looking for three Botanical Horticulturists to join the Gardens Temperate Collections Team. The three positions cover a range of high-profile areas across the Temperate Gardens Section including: The Great Broad Walk Borders, The Hive and Environs, Agius Evolution Garden, Duke’s Garden, The Grass Garden, Queen’s Garden, Children’s Garden, Elizabeth Gate and Environs.The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in maintaining the world class collections.These displays are important components of Kew’s living heritage landscape and visitor offer, and it is critical that they are kept to a high standard. (PDF, 122.86kb)More detailsThe successful candidates will have a Horticultural qualification equivalent to NVQ level 2 or above (or equivalent experience), experience of working in ornamental horticulture, caring for a range of woody and herbaceous plants, hedging and turf, use of machinery and proven experience and understanding of carrying out horticultural techniques in a team environment.The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (RBG Kew) is a leading plant science institute, UNESCO World Heritage Site, and major visitor attraction.
