Consolidated Gypsum Supply Ltd. is an Alberta based building supply distribution company serving builders and contractors in Western Canada. We are currently recruiting for a Branch Administrator to join our team at our busy Edmonton – West location.The Branch Administrator is responsible for the following duties:

  • Process branch paperwork (packing slip, invoicing, etc.)
  • Review and correct costing of all inventory POs and transfers
  • Monitor and data entry of warehouse and delivery damages, as well as sales promotion items on a weekly basis and month end
  • Monitor and investigate inventory discrepancies
  • File customer invoices, packing slips, transfers, supplier returns and adjustment batches
  • Conduct regular inventory cycle counts along with Branch/Ops Manager
  • Order branch stationery and supplies
  • Maintain accuracy of company forms for Sales and Operations departments.
  • Coordinate inventory record of all computer and electronic equipment with IT within the branch.
  • Coordinate with vendors for maintenance/cleaning of office equipment as required
  • Reconcile petty cash and maintain petty cash balance and float for the cash registers.
  • Prepare bank deposits and take them to the bank
  • Participate in and record minutes for Branch manager meetings
  • Generate reports for insufficient and inventory control
  • Prepare and approve time sheets for warehouse and delivery personnel and forward to Payroll dept.
  • Comply with Consolidated Gypsum Supply’s safety regulations, policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum two years warehouse administration experience preferably in the building supply industry
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on relative importance and urgency
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work overtime to accommodate for monthly inventory cycle counts
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence

Expected salary

$50000 – 55000 per year
