This role reports to the Head of Marketing, CSL Vifor UK and is responsible for the leadership of a brand and therapy area. The role is instrumental to developing the strategy and executing the marketing plans. There is also a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration, and inspiring and influencing colleagues across the business, ensuring that all teams are aligned behind the strategy and a common goal.ResponsibilitiesOwnership of the strategic and tactical plans (incl. local segmentation and omnichannel customer engagement plan) and on-going reviewsDevelop business cases for opportunities / growth areas within portfolioInitializes and evaluates market research, market conditions, and competitor’s data, extracting and implementing country-specific insights into the local marketing planContribute to the identification of business threats and to the development of related contingency plans including the digital tools and platformsManage the annual operational plans and budgets for the products responsible forAssist in the development and implementation of local tactics, incl. prioritizing appropriate targeting, positioning and messaging across all customer segments/personaPartner closely with field teams and ensures understanding of vision, mission, priorities and messagesCreate sustainable, long-term relationships with thought leaders and professional societiesWork effectively with commercial team members, training them on strategy, materials and other product-related capabilities as well as providing support for local programs and initiativesEnsure key performance metrics are in place, tracking and reporting KPIs to enable adherence to and tracking of local marketing budgetManage external vendors / agencies and leads day-to-day operational projectsCollaborate cross-functionally and liaises with global to enrich the brand strategy and tactics and share standard methodologies (including collaboration with Centre of excellence for the production on assets/contents) and market best practices Contributes to the building of functional capabilities, coaching & mentoring.Ensure commitment to compliance cultureMinimum RequirementsDegree or relevant in a relevant fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in the life sciences industryStrong track record of strategic and operation planning for GP and/or Hospital lead productsUnderstanding of medical aspects of therapeutic area along with willingness to develop in-depth expertiseUnderstanding of, coupled with demonstrated ability at driving omnichannel approach and insights driven customer engagement plansKnowledge of the local legal and regulatory landscapeStrong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with key customers, such as KOLs and developing opinion leader programsProfessional level in English, both in oral and in written communicationsAbility to travel at least 20-25%ABPI qualificationPreferred RequirementsMinimum 5 years industry of experience in marketing rolesDocumented success in working with customer facing teams and medical departmentsExperience with Rare Disease therapy area an advantageAbout CSL ViforCSL Vifor aims to become the global leader in iron deficiency and nephrology.The company is a partner of choice for pharmaceuticals and innovative patient-focused solutions across iron, dialysis, nephrology and rare conditions.
