JT19 – Building Services Engineer (Electrical)Location – BridgendSalary – £40,000+Overview
First Military recruitment are currently recruiting for an Electrically Biased Building Services Engineer to work as part of a small team in Bridgend.Job Purpose
The engineer will be part of an intermediate electrically biased team and will be required to carry out Mechanical, Electrical and Building Fabric Preventative Maintenance. You will also be required to provide front line support and assist a centre of excellence delivery across all building fabric activities.Aims and Objectives
- Maximise System and asset uptimes and availability
- Highlight areas to minimise operational and reputational risk
- Provide technical input to the wider team
- Promote a health and safety culture across the contract
- Participating in the service delivery on site and enhancing the customer experience
- Provide a key role as part of an effective team
- Provide a high level of customer service to the client and their associates
Essential
- Formal Electrical Apprenticeship
- City and Guilds 1 and 2 or recognised equivalent
- 18th Edition
- Experience with similar maintenance duties
- Experience in electrical installation work, plus testing and inspection
- Maintaining Critical equipment
- Willingness to carry out general fabric duties as required
- Experience of working within a customer focused environment
- 5 years experience within a critical environment
- A good knowledge of trades – plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, controls and refrigeration
- Experience in working with hand held technology and helpdesk
- Be conversant with current Health and Safety Legislation
- Prior experience with permits to work.
