Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Business Intelligence expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Creation and maintenance of Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and complex Business Intelligence Solutions (Data Lakes/DataLakehouses);
• Designing architectures both on the cloud and on premises (whether hosting or cloud on-premises) or combination of both (hybrid);
• Gathering business requirements and designing ETL processes;
• Data virtualization and data modelling;
• Design and development of reporting applications;
• Physical DB design and DB performance analysis;
• Design of Data Quality and Health Monitoring processes.

Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years;
• At least 5 years of experience with Qlik Sense;
• At least 2 years of experience with dashboard UI/UX design;
• At least 5 years of experience with SQL;
• At least 1 year of experience with Python;
• Excellent knowledge of data warehouse design & architecture;
• Excellent knowledge of relational database systems applied to data warehouse;
• Excellent knowledge of ETL and modelling tools;
• Excellent knowledge of online analytical data processing (OLAP) and data mining tools;
• Good knowledge of data lake/data lakehouse design and architecture;
• Knowledge of non-relational database technologies and near real time data warehousing and/or change data capture technologies;
• Excellent command of the English language.
