The Relations & Governance team is part of our global IT organization, known as Digital, and plays a pivotal role in steering growth and fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration. With a prominent footprint across Europe, North America, India, and East Asia, we are a dynamic team poised to make a significant impact in the world of sustainable solutions.

Our Digital headquarters is located in Denmark, with hub sites in Wales, Poland and Malaysia. This position will be based at our North American headquarters in Milton, Ontario, where you’ll be working with local stakeholders and business partners across the U.S. and Canada.

What You Will Be Doing

As our Business Relationship Manager in North America, you will serve as a strategic focal point for senior management, taking ownership of both business strategy and the outcomes that drive business value. Your primary objective will be to work closely with both business units and the Digital team, ensuring a sharp focus on demand, strategy, and the effective maximization of IT investments, with a keen eye on value and benefit realization. As the most senior Digital manager in North America, you will also serve as the local Digital site manager, driving a positive work culture and ensuring alignment with local policies and regulations.

Stakeholder Management

  • Manage senior management level stakeholders across business across Canada and the U.S., as well as across Digital
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings with management teams
  • Drive focus and actions in Digital through account planning, increasing stakeholder satisfaction

Business Strategy & Investment

  • Create and manage business cases to aid in the prioritization and investment process
  • Coordinate the cost of projects and services with the business

Portfolio Management & Governance

  • Manage intake process and govern intake of new ideas through Advisory Boards
  • Align portfolio planning across all divisions with Digital deliveries

Communication & Reporting

  • Communicate with stakeholders regarding the status of critical issues, strategic projects and future requirements related to IT projects

Team & Culture Leadership

As Site Manager you will:

  • Bridge communication and foster strong relationships between local Digital staff and line managers globally
  • Ensure adherence to local policies and regulations
  • Assist local HR when dealing with issues that affect Digital staff based on the local site
  • Provide ongoing support, coaching and advisement to employees and line managers on local HR related topics
  • Support line managers and HR with recruiting Digital staff and onboarding and offboarding locally.

What You Bring

You have experience in stakeholder management and the ability to communicate complex problems in a non-technical manner to raise awareness within Digital, and throughout ROCKWOOL Group. You are well organized and have experience in navigating complex organizations and you know how to influence and engender collaboration.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Relationship Manager, Business Partner or Key Account Manager, liaising between IT and the business, in an international company
  • Prior experience within an IT service provider organization
  • 3+ years of experience driving successful transformations with C-Suite stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
  • Strong understanding of Supply-Chain and Manufacturing to align strategies and solutions with industry specific requirements and goals.
