Business Support Officer

London or Home based – Hybrid (2 days a week office based)

We have a new opportunity to join our business as a Business Support Officer, to support to Managing Directors and Executive team, in day to day organisation including delivery of projects and administrative activities

You will be supporting both the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Managing Director of HUB Retirement Solutions, you will and be responsible for producing data reports, presentations and internal papers as well as supporting in a range of project research, analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide daily management, project and operational support, including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved project plans

To provide MI and Data to: support to the Business Case and Prioritisation Project and support Management as required

Continually review and assess the delivery and management of processes, policies, procedures ,capacity and costing, in order to identify areas for improvement. This can include the production of regular reporting and MI

Work closely with our product managers, assisting with BAU reporting and data requests, as well as ad-hoc requests

Reporting on the key performance metrics, reports and dashboards

Update and collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues, policies and practices to ensure the delivery of projects complies with agreed project management methodology

Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned project areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making and planning

Assist the project team to complete tasks and implement project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved

Communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding project status and

implementation issues

Provide a range of secretariat and administrative services, including coordinating committee meetings and preparing papers and key presentations

Skills and Experience:

Relevant experience working in business support or business executive role, supporting a similar change delivery / operations function

Relevant experience with analysing data, business analysis, and reporting

Experience in producing reports and MI in particular operational reports. Previous experience creating reporting structures and standardising reports and related documentation.

Effectively managing and prioritising multiple project support activities in a high workload and politically sensitive environment

Developing and maintaining key relationships across divisions to ensure effective coordination and achievement of project objectives

Proven experience in the financial services sector and the ability to apply this experience to the needs of the business

Ability to be impartial and reflects a true delivery picture, communicate the good news and issues alike and is

Experience in working within Transformation, Change & Project delivery environments

Customer obsessed, highly analytical, with a bias for objective measurement, facts, and reasoning

Managing stakeholder relationships – Engages and manages stakeholders effectively, resolving issues and understanding drivers/needs.

Excellent communicator both written and verbal and advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills
