Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?In this role, the Business Systems Analyst will work with the Brand, Marketing, Communications and Citizenship (BMCC) IT team supporting digital product management, tech currency and enhancements. You will work closely with the HR & CLAO, BMCC business unit, RTB (run-the-bank) and other head office groups to assist with identifying, analyzing, documenting and delivering improvements to internal and external client experiences while ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.What will you do?Elicit requirements (high-level, detailed etc.) from product owners/stakeholders and complete documentationManage product backlog, create detailed user stories and perform backlog grooming within an Agile settingAssess, research, analyze and document issues, gaps and opportunities raised by advisory teams, training, compliance, operations and project teamsPerform business and user acceptance testing, and post implementation support.Effectively communicate and collaborate with project teams and business unit colleagues who are impacted or support a changeNavigate issues of medium complexity, recommend solutions, and escalate concerns as appropriate with Product Owners/Managers and Production SupportFacilitate small to large meetings, prepares meeting agendas, and record minutes and action itemsWhat do you need to succeed?Must Have:Minimum of 3 years’ experience and knowledge gathering requirements as it relates to project management/agile project deliveryA strong understanding of the systems design lifecycle (SDLC)Ability to work effectively in situations involving rapid change, shifting priorities, and/or simultaneous demands with minimal supervisionExceptional relationship, communication and analytical skillsDeveloped problem solving skills and innovative thinkingFully proficient with SharePoint, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and JIRANice to Have:Experience in consulting and problem-solving skill setInterest in product management, project management, agile project deliveryFrench language skills (speaking, reading, and writing)Job SkillsAgile Methodology, Business Acumen, Business Data Analysis, Business Process Modeling, Communication, Critical Thinking, Decision Making, Stakeholder Management, Problem Solving, Requirements Analysis, Jira/ConfluenceWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
