We have three amazing opportunities for students who are seeking business placement opportunities during the 25/26 academic year that will give them experience, exposure and insight into the world of work. This is an opportunity for you to be part of a global business that will give you experiences and skills that will be valuable in your future career. This will be a full-time placement that will begin in July 2025 and end in August 2026.ROCKWOOL UK is committed in providing a rewarding and engaging experience that reflects “The ROCKWOOL Way” of working as well as demonstrating our common purpose – to release the natural power of stone to enrich modern living.What you will be doing:
- Working closely with ROCKWOOL UK employees, management and other key stakeholders to gain work experience and an understanding of a variety of business processes
- Getting exposure to areas including but not limited to operational management, finance, marketing and sales
- Supporting business departments on a variety of business tasks as well as being part of a collaborative project with other undergraduates who are part of the programme
- Ensuring that business activities are conducted in line with “The ROCKWOOL Way”(our values)
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve targets and goals
Requirements:
- Currently studying a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, Marketing or other relevant degree
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task a variety of projects
- High attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a team as well as individually
- Strong written and spoken English skills
- Experience working with MS Office Packages – Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- A positive and enthusiastic approach to learning new skills
- Must be able to commute daily to the Pencoed office
