Senior leadership role within Empowering Parents Empowering Communities and the Centre for Parent and Child Support, contributing to national and international dissemination of evidence-based parenting interventions and ongoing research.Portfolio of work coordinating, contributing, and leading on interventions, implementation, and disseminationMain duties of the jobSenior leadership role with Empowering Parents Empowering Communities within the Centre for Parent and Child Support, providing guidance and supervision to clinicians within the service. Working with senior leadership group to ensure work with national, international, and local services is fulfilled according to service level agreements, licenses, and work plans with sufficient funding.Use understanding of complex and changing circumstances within social care, national health service and voluntary sector to support work of Empowering Parents Empowering Communities and the Centre for Parent and Child Support to remain accessible, appropriate and acceptable.Promote the work of Empowering Parents Empowering Communities and the Centre for Parent and Child Support internally within the Trust, nationally and internationally, presenting at conferences, delivering training and through publications.About usAbout Us:The Centre for Parent and Child Support is a busy, successful, and influential unit for the development and dissemination of Family Partnership Model, Empowering Parents Empowering Communities and Helping Families Programme. The team are multi-disciplinary, made up of peer support workers, administrators, parenting practitioners, nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, clinical psychologists with shared belief in being able to improve outcomes for parents, children, and families.   • Qualification in profession allied to Medicine/Doctorate in Clinical Psychology/equivalent that has been accepted by the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) for purposes of professional registration. (A/I)
  • Completed training course in clinical supervision. (A/I/R)
  • Registered with the HCPC or similar professional body, and evidence of continuing professional development as required by the HCPC. (A/I)

  • Experience of working in parenting, child, and adolescent mental health, working with vulnerable parents, families, and children. (A/I)
  • Experience of developing, planning, and providing large- and small-scale workforce development, training, and teaching to a variety of professional groups. (A/I)
  • Experience of peer-led, service user-based service provision, coproduction, and collaborative work. (A/I)
