This role is open to penultimate undergraduate students at the University of Leeds who will take a year in industry as part of their degree onlyThis role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are looking for a Sustainability Projects Assistant to join our team for up to 12 months from August 2025. We are looking for a proactive and creative individual to assist us in delivering key projects and to embed sustainability across the University.This is a unique opportunity to work within a large institution at an exciting time of change, where sustainability plays a key strategic role. You will be part of a team that is leading the way in sustainability initiatives across the Higher Education sector. You will gain insights into how to implement and embed sustainability into a complex institution, develop contacts throughout the University and have an opportunity to influence change on many levels. You will also develop vital employability and transferrable skills, essential for your future career.You will have a passion and enthusiasm for sustainability, experience of project delivery, an ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.We welcome and encourage applications from all academic disciplines.This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
