Term of App’t: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4 pm (35 hours/week)Start date: ImmediatelyReporting to: Campus AdministratorSalary:Classification 12, $53,258.26 – 54,905.42, as per BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. We offer 119 hours of paid vacation time, pro-rated and front-loaded (based on FTE), and paid time off between the Christmas and New Year’s Day period. We offer an extremely competitive extended health and dental program. Employees hired in this division are required to enrol in the Municipal Pension Plan, with contributions matched by the Employer.Description:The Campus Office Assistant provides administrative support to the Campus Administrator, Director of Ancillary Services, and campus departments, carrying out a variety of administrative support functions.In this role, you will participate in a variety of meetings by drafting agendas, gathering background materials including reports and handouts, and documenting and distributing minutes.Organization is key for in this position as the Campus Office Assistant will be required for administering and maintaining the campus accounts that include preparing cheque requisitions and processing the bank statement reconciliation for the account. There is shared responsibility to maintain and book College vehicles for the campus, issue maintenance work orders when required for the campus fleet and collect gas receipts to submit for reconciliation.Qualifications:Required:

  • Office Administration certificate (or equivalent)
  • Two or more years of administrative office experience
  • Current and valid Driver’s License for travel within the community
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Customer service orientated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independent and as a team member
  • Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, with strong attention to detail, and meet deadlines while working with frequent interruptions
