Job Title: Capacity PlannerWe are seeking a Capacity Planner based in our Milton Office to join the Supply Chain Planning team. At ROCKWOOL, we work relentlessly to enrich modern living through our innovative stone wool solutions.Join us and make a difference!What you will be doing:Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the efficiency of the Supply Network.Ensure the most cost effective and efficient balance of production between the various Production and Warehouse facilities.Manage seasonal build plan process as well as inventory management for the North American organization.Through effective relationships and personal leadership, champion all stages of the monthly S&OP process, from Demand Consensus through Executive S&OPs reviews.Develop and maintain capacity plans for each of the production lines that support the Supply Network objectives.Ensure production in each facility is optimized to meet logistics objectives (production in home regions) and when necessary recommend and lead the allocation of production to other facilities.Develop and manage inventory plans that ensure consistent supply to customers while meeting business financial and service objectives.Establish a SLOB (Slow and Obsolete SKUs) cycle and process for mitigating obsolescence costs.Develop and monitor KPIs that impact our customers and shareholders and taking action to correct any non-conformance.What you bring:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management or related quantitative field.Extensive industry expertise in Demand and Supply Planning (both on the job and theory) with a deep understanding of the technical elements of each and how they impact capacity.Possess strong leadership behaviours, ability to influence while sharing information with internal and cross-functional colleagues. The ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner is key to this role.Ability to analyse large sets of data and transform them into meaningful pieces of information in a timely manner (expert excel skills).Has the courage to make tough decisions as well as challenge senior leadership when benefits the overall benefits.Self-starter that demonstrates a natural sense of curiosity and ambition that enables him/herself to consistently challenge the status quo.Position requires the ability to travel both domestically and internationally (approximately 10%).Effective change agent. Engaging, listens and is sensitive to the needs of others.
