Contact [email protected] a chat about how we can help you find the job and career progression you have been looking for.#FindYourAdventure”Main duties of the jobOur band 6 Cardiac physiologists fulfil a variety of roles in the department, assisting in the Cath lab, primary PCI, pacing clinics, remote pacing analysis, Echocardiography, assisting at TOE and Holter analysis.Opportunities to develop in all areas of Cardiac Physiology are available. - BSc Cardiac Physiology in related science
- Voluntary registration with RCCP
- Evidence of continued professional development to post graduate diploma level or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
Desirable
- Further education in cardiological sciences
- Academy of Healthcare sciences PTP/STP equivalence
ExperienceEssential
- Experience in performing and assessing ECG
- Previous experience of working as part of a team
- Previous experience of training students and junior members of staff
Desirable
- Experience or exposure to Echocardiography, transoesophageal and stress echocardiography
- Experience or exposure to Cardiac Catheterisation/IABP as a physiologist
- Experience or exposure to temporary or permanent cardiac
- Experience of supervising junior staff
- Experience in training staff of other disciplines
