Job description
We are looking to recruit a Caretaker to join the at our Head Office in Helsby, Cheshire. This is a part time role (25 hrs pw) working Monday to Friday.A full UK driving licence is required.Responsibilities:
- Carry out general office maintenance to include gardening, general DIY.
- General cleaning duties ensuring that a high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the building and around the site – includes vacuuming, mopping, cleaning the kitchen, spot checking and cleaning toilets.
- Keyholder – opening/locking up the office, point of contact in the event of alarm activation or office security issue
- Empty and clean bins and remove waste to designated area, including the separation of waste, i.e. recycling.
- To be aware of their responsibilities for Health & Safety of themselves and others.
- Preparation of meeting rooms, making sure everything is set up.
Person Specification:
- Good knowledge and practical skills for gardening and DIY
- Caretaker/Cleaning experience preferred but not essential
- Take pride in a job well done, committed to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Willing to undertake any training relevant to the role
- Ability to manage time effectively
