Job Summary

How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for receiving and maintaining record of daily cash transactions.

As a Cash Room Clerk, you will:

  • Prepare daily bank deposits in a timely manner for armored car pick-up; prepares due backs on a daily basis for cashiers and servers
  • Inventory daily deposits from cashiers and bartenders; report immediately to Controller any missing deposits or discrepancies between cash envelopes and actual deposits
  • Prepare daily general cashier’s report
  • Ensure sufficient funds are available for daily operation; provide change to staff
  • Maintains records of daily cash receipts and transactions and uses 10-key for balancing reports and credit card receipts
  • Archive monthly reports for storage
  • Assist in training new cashiers on proper drawer-counting procedures.
  • Assist with other administrative duties as needed

About you:

  • Two years’ experience in a finance or cash handling position.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and strong focus on accuracy
