Cashier/Finance Assistant*
in Erbil
The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration until 31.12.2025. Employment location will be Erbil,in KRI. The position is paid according to SG5 (2,301,000 IQD) as Gross Salary.

The aims of the position are to assist in providing administrative support to the project/programme and in managing the project’s/programme’s finances.
Your responsibilities
2. Duties and area of responsibility
2.1. Duties with own area of responsibility
- Assist in the coordination of the project/programme office’s operations
- Prepare and organise internal team meetings as directed
- Update the project/programme organisational chart on a regular basis
- Provide basic logistic services
- Make administrative and logistic arrangements of project activities (meetings, workshops etc.)
- Ensure the functioning of computer software and hardware
- Prepare security updates and do a regular virus check-up
- Monitor availability of supplies (spare parts, stationary etc.) and arrange for replenishment
- Regularly update the project/programme inventory list
- Assist in the project’s/program’s financial administration
- Provide necessary data to monitor the cash-flow situation and plan the project’s/programme’s (annual/monthly) finances
- Assist in monitoring expenditures/costs cost type and cost category) with regard to the budget
- Prepare the necessary documentation for banking transactions (deposit cash or cheque, cash cheques, collect monthly bank statement etc.)
- Assist in preparing and controlling vouchers of the project/ programme office and country office
- Follow up on and arrange for a/c receivables and payables settlement (e.g. payment of utilities)
- Bill private telephone, vehicle use etc.
- Provide necessary documents and reports for internal controlling

- Fulfillment of any other tasks which are assigned by the management and correspond in general with the character of this position
2.3 Specific activities and duties of the position / Position specific qualifications
To be filled in or described individually by the Country Director or immediate superior
-Where applicable, contribute to preparing the auditors, internally or with other partners.
-Ensure the proper filing of all the financial and administrative documents.
-Translate when required the administrative and financial documents( Invoice, official statements, law taxes, internal key documents)
-Scan and copy related accounting and administrative documents.
-Provide technical support to the partners in similar function areas.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- University degree
- 1 to 2 years’ professional experience working in similar position with relevant tasks and responsibilities
Foreign language skills
- Fluency in English ,Kurdish and Arabic (written and spoken),
