Description
A leading designer and manufacturer of specialist solutions for hazardous area electrical equipment protection serving a global client base across a range of industries is seeking an experienced Certification Engineer to join their growing Certification & Consultancy Team.
This is an exciting time to join them as they are continuing to expand their core product ranges including NPI and actively targeting new market sectors.
This newly-created role will be focused on delivering certification and consultancy projects; providing customers with consultancy-style solutions by understanding their requirements; and completing relevant certification for products to be operated in hazardous areas and ensuring that product specifications meet European and international standards.
In addition, you will also be working with the Certification Director to develop the in-house Hazardous Area training business unit.
This role can be delivered hybrid between working from home and visits to the company HQ in Surrey at least 3 days per week. Their site is easily reached by both road (2 minutes from the M3) and public transport (a few minutes walk from the local train station) where they have in-house design, fabrication and testing facilities.
There may be the very occasional visit to customer sites to understand their requirements and settings, but the vast majority of interactions are conducted via video.
