Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Change Manager, Product Transformation will be primarily accountable to lead and execute change management deliverables (process, technology, and people) for an assigned set of strategic initiatives for RBC Investor Services (IS). The Change Manager will develop a change management plan inclusive of process and controls impact assessments, training, and communication schedules (as applicable) and support the design of the target state processes. The incumbent will play a key role in helping RBC IS achieve target outcomes by ensuring complete adoption of target processes and controls across a broad group of internal and external stakeholders.What will you do?

  • Own process and controls impact assessments (current vs. target state)
  • Develop a change management plan that will enable the implementation of process and controls changes across a broad group of internal (Operations, Client Success) stakeholders and support change management efforts for external clients as required
  • Lead the development and implementation of OCM methodology, strategies and plans to support large to medium scale projects
  • Complete stakeholder analysis, organizational impact, change readiness assessments and integration plans into communication and training to drive adoption of changes being introduced
  • Lead the development and facilitation of training, communication, and all other aspects related to change adoption
  • Develop and implement OCM strategies and plans to mitigate risks and successfully transition impacted stakeholders through the changes, including the implementation of communication, engagement, change leadership, training, and resistance management strategies and plans and oversee OCM execution, including measuring the outcomes to assess effectiveness of the overall change management strategy
  • Build and manage relationships with Internal stakeholders – Operations, Technology and Operations, Learning and Development, Human Resources, and Communications areas and others as necessary in the development and implementation of successful OCM strategies
  • Manage and resolve change management risks throughout the project while developing a sustainable change management plan
  • Facilitate the development and use of performance metrics to define, measure and report on the progress and success of change and impacts to people on projects
  • Providing regular consolidated reporting and updates to management.
  • Provide input, document requirements and analyses to support change management activities.
  • Offer support to ongoing and additional product initiatives as required
  • Provide recommendations on optimizing and executing change management tactics based on feedback / inputs from business stakeholders

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • Minimum 5 years in Leadership/Management role and RBC cross functional business experience/exposure, IS preferred
  • 7+ years financial industry experience specifically in and Investor Services/Fund Administration industry
  • Thorough operational knowledge of and applicable systems , processes, procedures, policies and operations
  • 3+ years of broad Change Management and Project Management experience (equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered)
  • Extensive delivering training sessions in classroom and use of Web technologies channels
  • Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to offer clear and concise articulation of complex initiatives
  • Interpersonal and networking skills with a proven track record of dealing with clients, senior management and colleagues across geographies

  • PMP, Change Management certification, e.g. Prosci
