This is a temporary position as a Chef working for Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers. The role involves creating nutritious and flavorful meals for residents while maintaining high standards of quality and service. The position offers a good work-life balance with regular hours and weekends off.Main duties of the jobAs a Chef at Barchester Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work with fresh, seasonal ingredients to prepare high-quality meals for residents. You will assist the Head Chef in developing menus that are tailored to the preferences and dietary needs of the residents. - You will need to hold a City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification, and have experience in helping lead and inspire a team. A good understanding of nutrition and experience working with fresh, seasonal food is also required. The ability to create a warm and welcoming environment and a good understanding of HACCP are also essential.
