Job description
We are looking for a Chef with an Enhanced DBS for ad hoc cover for various Care Homes in the Cheddar area.Shifts vary but will be similar to 7.30am-5.30pm but you will need to be flexible with time. Weekly pay including accrued holiday payKey Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality meals for residents.
- Prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals that meet dietary requirements.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Manage food orders, stock control, and kitchen operations efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Care Home kitchens
- Enhanced DBS check (essential).
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and nutritional needs, particularly for elderly care.
- Strong organizational skills.
