We provide a range of expert services across the drug development lifecycle to pharmaceutical and biotech companies, supporting them in finding treatments for patients.Description:Chemistry Placement StudentHours: 37.5 hours per weekRef No: HRJOB10090Business Unit: Almac SciencesLocation: CraigavonOpen To: Students Currently studying a Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry MSci degree, with successful completion of their third year by the end of this academic year.Contract: This placement will run for 12 months, over the 2025/26 academic yearThe RoleWorking as part of the Chemistry team, based in our global headquarters in Craigavon, you will be responsible for the development of chemical processes to allow successful manufacture of drug substance to support toxicology, clinical trials, and commercial supply.You will carry out assigned practical chemistry and analysis project work, under supervision, and will support the day to day running of the chemistry labs.We have 5 exciting placement opportunities across our team within the following disciplines,
- Peptide Chemistry
- Physical Sciences Chemistry
- Biocatalysis/ Custom & Flow Chemistry
- Process Development Chemistry (2x)
