Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Position

As ECC’s COO, you will be responsible for day-to-day operational processes and daily administrative and internal functions. The COO will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and work with the executive team to develop and implement strategies that improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability. You will be responsible for leading and managing all operating departments and to provide guidance and support to all employees to ensure that our company goals are met.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continued improvement
  • Optimize operational processes and implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive efficiency and productivity
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders, customers, partners, vendors and/or suppliers
  • Collaborate with executive team members to develop and implement business strategies
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify areas for company-wide improvement
  • Stay apprised of industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to consistently and ethically within the mission and core values of the company
  • Provide regular and ongoing opportunities for all staff to give feedback on company operations

Compensation

ECC offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, health and other benefits.

Salary $120000 – $160000 USD per year

Required Skills

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar related field
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience in executive leadership roles
  • Proven experience in overseeing and managing diverse functional areas such as operations, finance, and human resources
  • Strong financial acumen with a track record of effectively managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and making data-driven decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Experience in leading, managing and guiding employees, and encouraging maximum performance and dedication
  • Proven ability to manage and drive organizational change initiatives, resulting in improved operational effectiveness
  • Experience in the cannabis industry is strongly preferred
