Summary of DutiesWorking with an interprofessional team, the Child & Youth Worker is responsible for implementing a range of prevention, intervention and treatment strategies for Adolescents who have been diagnosed with a major mental illness.Qualifications/Skills
- Child and Youth Worker diploma/degree required
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification required
- Current BCLS required
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization including external partners
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Adolescent Mental Heath
- Demonstrated ability to apply principles of DBT and CBT
