Job IntroductionDue to retirement, Lincolnshire County Council are seeking to recruit a Children With Disabilities Team Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a social work team in an outstanding Local Authority.About the roleThe children with disabilities team manager post is a diverse and creative role, you will be managing a well-established experienced team of social workers, who work across the county of Lincolnshire with children and young people with severe and profound disabilities. The role requires resilience, integrity, and strong leadership.What we’re looking forYou will have a creative approach and the ability to make informed decisions quickly and effectively when managing and dealing with complex situations. You will need skills in financial management and resource allocation working in the most efficient way without compromising quality of care. You will be working with key partners in health and SEND ensuring children and young people get the right support at the right time always ensuring the most vulnerable children are safeguarded.About the teamWe believe that all disabled children matter. Based in the modern Sleaford offices, our team supports children and young people with severe and profound disabilities.
