To provide an accurate and prompt administrative function to facilitate the delivery of an efficient and effective appointment booking service for Specialist Eating Disorder Service (SpeED) and out of area beds .Main duties of the jobProvide ‘first point of access’ administration for all referrals into the department.Use of local patient administration systems to manage all referrals, waiting lists and appointments for all patients in a timely manner.Ensure that all communications with members of the public, staff and any other agency are handled confidentially and professionally.Ensure all documentation is appropriately completed and filed accordingly.Maintain strict confidentiality at all timesReceive record and manage incoming mailAny other duties as appropriate as delegated by Team leader or Admin Manager.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.About usIf you relish a challenge, have a passion to help others or simply fancy a fresh start, then Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales, has all the right ingredients.   • Evidence of continuous/ ongoing learning
  • Typing or word processing or equivalent demonstrable experience

  • ECDL qualified

ExperienceEssential

  • Previous experience in booking, secretarial and/or administration role
  • Copy/ Audio typing

Desirable

  • Ability to organise meetings and training for clinical staff

Skills and KnowledgeEssential

  • Able to use Word/Excel/ Email/Outlook proficiently
  • Able to manage electronic diaries effectively
  • Good clerical and prioritising skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
