We are seeking a dedicated Class Teacher for a maternity cover position, starting from 3rd June 2025 until at least 18th July 2025. This role is ideal for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers, offering an opportunity to engage with both KS1 and KS2 curriculums. The successful candidate may be based in one year group or required to teach across the school, depending on their experience.Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of students in either KS1 or KS2, or across both, depending on assignment.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum standards.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning.
- Participate in school meetings and parent-teacher meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum is essential.
- Suitable for ECTs or teachers with more extensive experience.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to cater to different learning needs and age groups.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Commitment to professional development and learning.
