Job DescriptionPosition: Primary School Teaching Assistant
Location: Harrow, London
Salary: £90-95 a day
Start date: ASAPWe are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Harrow. The successful candidate will work alongside teachers to support students in their learning and development.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and supporting students in their learning
- Working with small groups of students or individual students to provide additional help and support
- Supervising students during lessons, lunchtimes, and outdoor play
- Helping to prepare and organize classroom materials and resources
- Supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities as necessary
- Collaborating with teachers to create a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Communicating regularly with parents and carers about student progress and behavior
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them to reach their full potential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- A patient and caring attitude towards children of all abilities
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning (desirable)
