We offer flexibility, career progression and a competitive start rate.Full-time Cleaning positions are available.From Monday to Sunday rota shifts are 8.00 am-4.30 pmMount Desert, Lee Road, Co. Cork, T23 D30F***OWN TRANSPORT IS NEEDED AS THE SITE IS NOT LOCATED ON A BUS ROUTE***Purpose of the RoleTo undertake daily building cleaning in line with Health & Safety Standards. The cleaner will work within a team to ensure that the building is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness.Job DescriptionThe following are key areas of responsibility for the cleaner:

• Undertake general cleaning of all non-clinical areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells and toilets, etc.
• Vacuuming, dusting and washing floors and walls
• Sweeping, floor polishing and waste disposal
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Ensuring the toilet facilities are kept clean and supplies are replenished when required
• Organize the necessary supplies for cleaning.
• Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers and elevators
• General housekeeping and cleaning around the building.
• Inform the Supervisor/Manager of stock required for replenishing purposes
• Undertake any other duties as requested

• A can-do attitude
• Experience of a similar role
• Good working knowledge of English
• Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices
• Knowledge of how to use the equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks.
• Garda vetting required
• Covid-19 Vaccine is available on site.
