We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Cleaning Manager to join our team in Essex RM20 4AL and play a key role in driving excellence and innovationAbout the RoleTeam Management & Service Delivery: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cleaning team, ensuring service delivery aligns with client contracts, legislation, and cleaning specifications, while driving positive changes in standards.Financial & Resource Management: Maintain labor costs and overall budgets, manage stock control of cleaning materials, ensure cost-effective practices, and proactively seek operational efficiencies through technologies and innovations.Staff Development & Compliance: Recruit, induct, and develop cleaning staff, ensuring all training, appraisals, and HR policies (e.g., absence management, holiday tracking) are up to date and adhered to.Health, Safety, & Environmental Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, fostering a positive culture of safety and sustainability within the cleaning team.Client & Performance Monitoring: Prepare client reports, attend meetings, and manage quality assurance audits to ensure cleaning standards meet or exceed the specified contractual requirements, maintaining a positive relationship with the client.What We’re Looking ForCommitment to Excellence & Change: Demonstrated dedication to service excellence and adapting to change, ensuring high-quality outcomes in all aspects of operations.Team Leadership & Resource Management: Proven experience in managing and leading teams, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and allocate resources to meet objectives.Health & Safety Expertise: Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance and maintaining a safe working environment.Industry Knowledge & Communication: In-depth understanding of the cleaning industry, with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with teams and clients.Technical & Academic Competence: Computer literate with good literacy and numeracy skills; desirable qualifications include IOSH Managing Safely, BICSc assessor, BIFM Qualification, or relevant apprenticeship experience.What we offer:
