Overview

About the Role  

The successful candidate will be part of the Cleaning Services team and be required to provide a high standard cleaning service to Queen Mary’s buildings and to deliver a professional and customer focused service to staff, students and visitors. We have two roles at our Charterhouse Square and Whitechapel sites, which are 9am to 2pm (25hrs). 

About You 

Applicants should hold GCSE English or equivalent and have a good command of the English language both written and verbally. You will be required to be able to carry out manual handling tasks and good customer communication and care skills. The role requires experience working as part of a customer focused team and knowledge of health and safety practices in relation to cleaning tasks.

The Directorate is one of the largest departments within Queen Mary, University of London and is committed to supporting and promoting student wellbeing at the College, and providing the highest standards of estates and facilities across the university, preparing and helping to sustain the University’s working and learning environmental for students, staff, stakeholders, and guests by ensuring safe environments, security and cleanliness.
