Job description
The RSK Group’s Credit Control department are now recruiting for a Client Credit Management Officer to join them at our Head-office in Helsby, Cheshire. This is a full time hybrid role.Credit Managers oversee the credit lending process for a company. They assess the creditworthiness of potential customers, monitor existing clients, coordinate terms of credit and comply with relevant laws and regulations.Responsibilities:
- Assessing the creditworthiness of potential Clients.
- Approving or rejecting credit facility based on available data.
- Recommending appropriate Credit Terms in line with business requirements. – justifying credit decisions in written and verbal explanations
- Personally investigate the largest customer credit applications as directed by Senior Officer and Team Leader
- Liaising with Senior Management Team to agree on most appropriate Credit Risk Options
- Maintaining records of all Client Credit facilities.
- Monitoring all Client Risk Profiles and updating the business accordingly.
Person Specification:
- Proven previous experience within a Credit Control or Administration position.
- Sound Knowledge of business software ie, Windows, Excel, Outlook. – Access Dimensions (Advantage but not essential)
- Good understanding of Commercial Credit & Regulatory Requirements for UK/IE Company Registration. (Advantage but not essential)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
