We are committed to helping our clients build financial success through a personalized approach that draws on the full resources of RBC Wealth Management.The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Kamloops, BC is looking for an Associate to join a highly successful Private Investment Management team.Your role on the team will be to provide administrative support, including high quality proactive & reactive customer service, assisting in relationships with new and existing clients.What will you do?

  • This position calls on your client-focused service expertise to maximize each client interaction. Proactively engage in building rapport and maintaining client relationships.
  • Assist the Advisor team with client onboarding, including preparing and executing documentation.
  • Help manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors, and other internal and external partners.
  • Coordinate and prepare for meetings.
  • Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients: manage timelines and key dates for accounts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements. Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems.
  • Reviewing cash balances (debits & credits) for investment or debit coverage for discretionary and non-discretionary accounts
  • Draw on your social media skills to update the team’s communication channels, including websites, LinkedIn, brochures, newsletters.

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • High level of time management and organization skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication in English
  • Aptitude to build quality relationships.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) OR ability to complete with 6-12 months of employment.

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures
  • Experience with Salesforce application.
  • Experience in the Investment or Finance Industry, is an asset

The expected salary range for the above position is $37,400 – $50,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment.RBC’s compensation philosophy and principles recognize the importance of a highly qualified global workforce and plays a critical role in attracting, engaging and retaining talent that:
