Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?You will be responsible for supporting the administrative and operational functions of RBC IS. This role involves handling a variety of tasks including data entry, managing records, reconciliation, coordinating and collaborating with different departments within ICS and ensuring smooth workflow within our organization. Attention to detail is a requirement. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of ICS client tax preparation and reporting. In ICS Operations we focus on innovation in service delivery, recognition of our people and continuous process improvements to continue building on our vision of creating a more professional, high quality service delivery culture.What will you do?
- Developing appropriate project management procedures and tools for all major activities; assisting members of the organization in the use of project management methods and tools.
- Determining needs and suggesting solutions for administrative improvements in procedures, processes, or systems to support other functions.
- Identifying needs and suggesting solutions for customization or alterations of technical tools to support unusual or new business requirements.
- To collect and analyze information.
What do you need to succeed?Must-have
- 2-4+ years of relevant work experience in financial services
- Strong industry knowledge and knowledge of financial instruments in the banking and financial sector
- Knowledge of securities operations and ICS operations and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel)
- Knowledge in Registered Products such as RSP, TFSA, RIF
