As a Client Support Operator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This role is critical to the mobilisation and delivery of a Roundless Tactical Engagement Simulation (R-TES) system. You will deliver first class Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) to the R-TES contract, develop an advanced understanding of the system and forge strong working relationships with the customer with a high degree of autonomy.Day to day, you’ll provide customer support to the client and be the regional primary point of contact for all queries and solving issues. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Continue to deliver the Regional R-TES Hub to successfully deliver ILS for our partners and thereafter, be primary point of contact for R-TES activities undertaken within the Regional Hub area and in the future potentially establish other hubs in the region.
  • Be the technical expert for R-TES, including its operation to support the customer, answer any questions and help them to achieve the maximum benefits for their training
  • Provide on call support to the customer through a telephone helpline when the R-TES is in use; this is a shared responsibility across all operators
  • Deliver Social Value by volunteering, as part of normal working hours, with local projects as agreed with your manager, for at least 2 working day per month. (Volunteering will be conducted in normal working hours and therefore will still be paid)
  • Maintain high levels of performance, availability, and reliability as per Key Performance Indicators.

This role is full time working 37 hours per week and involved hybrid working, with a minimum of 2 days per week based on site at Harrogate and Catterick. Occasional cover may be required at other sites within the UK for short periods of time.Essential experience of the Client Support Operator:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office packages, including Word and Excel
  • Experience in a military environment is desirable
  • Please note training will be provided on how to operate, maintain and repair the system during a bespoke training package.

Qualifications for the Client Support Operator:

  • Full clean driving licence suitable for use in the UK
